"Aging Is inevitable BUT how you age is a choice." Dr. Andreas

Our "HALFTIME" Story & How IOH Was Born

At first glance, Dr. Andreas & Patricia appear to have it all together. They’re healthy and fit, with a gorgeous family, a lovely home, and thriving careers - but what you don't see - is the struggle.

Fortunately, Patricia and Dr. Andreas learned to channel adversity into opportunity.

In 2010 they both went through divorces, followed by bankruptcy, a move to a new city, career reinventions and layoffs, emergency back surgery, weight gain, auto-immune disorder diagnosis, and low testosterone—all while blending two young families with three kids. A few years later, Dr. Andreas lost his mom to cancer and his father seven months later to suicide.

Through this hardship, Its Only Halftime was born.

IOH is a metaphor for a moment in time - a moment in life when anyone can say, “Enough is enough! I’m more than what I’m going through today. More than what I’ve accepted in life.”

The dark moment in Dr. Andreas’ life was when he questioned the desire to carry on. A brief but defining moment of despair that woke him up from his pity parade and inspired him to declare, “I’m not finished yet - it’s only halftime,”

He recalls telling Patricia, "This can't be all there is. What have I become? There's so much more to live for and accomplish. People could benefit from and relate to my struggle. We should turn our mess into a message of hope for others.

Following that "halftime" declaration, Dr. Andreas turned his life around and consciously decided to channel all the pain, loss, hurt, anger - and empty bank account - into what you see today. A man committed to his family, happily remarried, and in the best shape of his life. Thriving, despite the struggle.

Dr. Andreas realized he was neglecting his health and that his dreams would not be possible without that crucial foundation.

Your health is the keystone of everything worth enjoying in life.

Many of Dr. Andreas’ professional clients seem to have it all - the home, the cars, the spouse, the kids, and the toys. But they’ve often acquired them while sacrificing their most precious asset - their health.

It may be subtle at first. Low energy, an expanding waistline, and high blood pressure creeping up. Before you know it, you hardly recognize the person in the mirror - physically, psychologically, or energetically. Slowly, your medicine cabinet fills with orange bottles, and doctor visits become more frequent or worse.

Society says this is normal. The question we need to ask ourselves is - is it acceptable? At IOH, we believe accepting this avoidable decline is madness.

"Aging is inevitable, but how you age is a choice!" -- Dr. Andreas

When they created IOH, Dr. Andreas and Patricia declared a simple, achievable goal - “To die young as late as possible!”

To live your best life now - free of pain, medications, and frequent doctor visits - or worse - nursing homes, assisted living, or dialysis.

To live an active adult life well into your golden years, doing what you love with people you love for as long as possible.

In other words - a life with aging redefined!

Dr. Andreas and Patricia dedicate their lives and careers to helping professionals like you achieve that goal. They don't just talk about redefined aging; they live it daily, making choices to defy aging.

IOH can teach you to take personal responsibility for where you are in life, regardless of your challenges, and channel adversity into fuel. Fuel for an extraordinary life - to be the exception from today’s ever-declining acceptance of healthy aging.

Dr. Andreas is not another random internet fitness guru or a six-pack specialist but an actual physician who genuinely cares about your total picture of health and performance, knowing - “There is no passion to be found playing small – in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.” ~ Nelson Mandela
